Over 200 people in Naivasha town took to the streets in protest over the increasing cases of cattle rustling, with majority of those affected said to be small scale farmers in the area.
The irate farmers who were accompanied by traders matched for nearly 10 kilometers from Kinamba trading center, paralyzing transport along the busy Naivasha-Kirima road, while at the same time accusing police of laxity.
The protests came just a few hours after a group of cattle rustlers raided a home in the wee hours of the morning, stealing two dairy cattle.
