The Kenya Red Cross has signed a memorandum of understanding with Kitui County government to enhance food security in the county through support to irrigation schemes.
The two partners will spend Sh86 million in four thematic areas of disaster risk management, capacity building, empowerment of vulnerable groups including youth and food security, Governor Julius Malombe said during the signing of the MoU.
