Transport was yesterday paralysed along the Goodwill Magada-Wemilabi-Magada road after boda boda operators from Luanda in Vihiga county held demonstrations to protest the poor state of the road.
They chanted anti-governor Moses Akaranga slogans, barricaded the road, dug trenches and planted banana stems.
They accused the county government of failing to gravel the road despite boasting of improving the state of the roads.
They demanded to know where the money allocated to repair the road had been taken.
