With barely 16 months to the awaited 2017 General Elections several governors have been forced into campaign mode as rivals plotting to unseat them during the 2017 election intensify their onslaught.
The rivals who have declared their intention for the Taita Taveta county seat are now proving to be a thorn in the flesh for seating Governor John Mruttu.
Mruttu has now issued a warning, reminding them that he remains the elected leader till next years polls and asked his rivals to give him time to deliver on the many projects he has started.
This comes after Wundanyi Member of Parliament Thomas Mwedeghu accussed the governor of neglecting the community in their quest to be allocated over 40 thousand acres of land owned by white settlers.
