The High Court has quashed the decision by Council of Legal Education to withdraw law courses offered at Mount Kenya and Moi universities.
Justice George Odunga declared that the council has no jurisdiction to accredit or withdraw courses offered at the two universities.
The two institutions had moved to court over suspension of Bachelor of Laws programme by CLE in their respective schools.
Justice Odunga directed that the council be reconstituted within 60 days failure to which it shall be deemed to be illegally in office.
