A report on the inappropriate practises by Imperial Bank which was placed under receivership will be ready in a week’s time and will inform the next course of action for the troubled bank. Central Bank Governor Patrick Njoroge however sought to alley fears that the country’s banking sector is not safe. He also raised concerns over the quality of Imperial Bank external auditors warning that they risk sanctions if found guilty of giving a false audit report to conceal the banks malpractices.
