The government has been urged to increase budgetary allocations to agriculture to enable Kenya to became a food secure state. This is according to Robert Allport, the assistant of food and agriculture organisation representative who was speaking during the World Food Day. Robert says more money will enable Kenyan farmers venture into agribusiness and open up to new and better agri-based technologies leading to better yields .
