In an unprecedented move, the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission has resubmitted to the Director of public prosecutions Keriako Tobiko, a file on labour Cabinet secretary Kazungu Kambi, asking for reconsideration of the matter and have the CS charged as earlier recommended. In his response, the DPP has indicated the file will be independently re-evaluated, after he had recommended it closed due to lack of evidence. And as Duncan Khaemba reports, this turn of events is likely to generate political heat in coming days.
