The death toll from the collapse of ten storey building in Kisii has risen to 7 after one more body was pulled out of the debris Friday morning, 11th November, as emergency teams raced against time to rescue several other people still trapped under the rubble.
Rescurers from the Kenya Defence Forces who arrived in Kisii arrived later in the day, even as Kisii county governor James Ongwae clashed with officials from the National Disaster Management unit over the slow pace of the rescue mission.
