Stop politicizing the war on corruption and demonizing the head of state, Deputy President William Ruto has told the opposition claiming they had launched a campaign to tarnish the name of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his family over the alleged 5.3 Billion shilling ministry of health scandal.
This as other leaders across the country came to the defence of the President after opposition leader Raila Odinga demanded that the President owns up to the scam since some of his relatives had been adversely mentioned.
ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi has however castigated the government's commitment to fighting corruption dismissing DP Ruto's suggestion of forming a tribunal to investigate the loss of Billions at Afya House.
The sentiments come as the ministry of health announced that it will appoint an independent auditor to re-look at the 'misappropriation' of the 5.3 Billion.
