Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo says he has forgiven Nyadorera youths who were involved in violence that left his vehicle destroyed.
The MP on Friday urged Siaya voters not to re-elect Siaya Governor Cornel Rasanga and Usonga MCA Sylvestor Madialo claiming to have had knowledge of the stone throwing episode during his rally.
Speaking at Gendro Mixed Secondary School in Alego Usonga constituency, Midiwo said politics of violence ended with the old constitution and should be discarded.
“Candidates should embrace politics of ideas and not violence and that’s why I have come today to forgive those who were used to attack me at Nyadorera two weeks ago,” he said.
