Kenya Forest Service officers in Busia county have impounded an illegal consignment of Sandle wood worth Ksh.16M at Malaba border which was being smuggled to Uganda.
The Busia county Kenya Forest officer James Were said that the Sandalwood estimated to be 8.4 tonnes was being transported to Tororo in Uganda from Mombasa when it was impounded by the Kenya Revenue Authority.
