The High Court has extended orders restraining British Broadcasting Corporation from Publishing or broadcasting British American Tobacco Company bribery allegations against Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula.
Justice Roselyn Aburili also directed Wetangula’s lawyer James Orengo to amend the petition to read that service should be effected at the broadcaster’s Nairobi Office.
Wetangula’s petition read that it should be served to BBC’s London office which led to the BBC Nairobi office decline to accept the petition.
The senator sued BBC claiming to have been defamed by the broadcaster in its Panorama programme, which allegedly portrayed him as having solicited the purchase of an airline ticket to London for his wife.
