The Kenya Internally Displaced Persons Association has urged the government to consider declaring the 27th day of December every year, a national holiday in remembrance of victims of the 2007/2008 Post Election Violence. Speaking in Nakuru during the organization's annual remembrance day of those died during the 2007/2008 Post Election Violence, the body's National Patron Peter Tenna said that the day must be honoured, adding that it will serve as a reminder of the importance of a united nation devoid of negative ethnicity and tribal clashes. Nancy Onyancha has that story.
